stunning views of the Grand Strand. The Saltwater Marsh Explorer
Adventure is a 2 1/2-hour ecology trip that allows you to see
marine life in its true element. Rates are $19 for adults and
$11 for children 12 and under. The "Cruising the Beach"
Ocean Sightseeing Cruise along the coast of Myrtle Beach wraps
up the trip with a sunset at sea. Rates are $16 for adults and
$6 for children ages 6 to 12 (free for children under 6).
You can rent windsurfers at Sail and Ski,
515 Hwy. 501, Myrtle Beach (tel. 843/626-7245), from April to
September.

A family-oriented business,
Adventure Water Sports will hook you up with jet ski rentals,
sports boats, kayaks, and other equipment. Boat rentals range
from $250 to $350 for a half-day or $400 to $600 for a full day.
Kayak rentals begin at $35 for a single. A $100 credit card deposit
is required for jet ski rentals, a $400 credit card deposit for
sports boats. The outfitter is open daily 9am to 7pm at its main
office at 3947 B Hwy. 544 in Myrtle Beach (tel. 843/444-2969).
